If you are accustomed to puzzle games, you can easily notice that any game with the “dle” ending must be somehow related to the famous word-guessing game named wordle. The Colordle game is not the opposite case, which is inspired by that famous phenomenon. However, to become a unique variant from its original version, this title must have some separate features.
Notably, the obvious feature telling Wordle and Colordle apart is the guessing object. In the original version, players must figure out the exact hidden English word, but in this spin-off, players must spot the color code concealed in the game.
Playing the Colordle game is extremely simple, just by your keyboard. You will make your guess by typing a color code containing six digits into the blank grid of the game and press Enter to submit your guess.
Six rows in the grid are equivalent to six available guesses the game offers you to spot the precise color code. Since Colordle hasn’t released the Unlimited mode, you can only play one game daily.
Unlike other word games involving all the alphabetical letters, the Colordle game only needs 6 alphabetical letters from A to F and 10 numbers from 0 to 9. The difference will make it easier to narrow down the possibilities.
No one can play a puzzle game without in-game hints. Colordle offers similar types of hints to those in the Wordle game. They have colored hints, each with a separate meaning:
Beside the colored hints, you can rely on the blurred background color of the game to think of the possible answer in the puzzle. Your guesses will create unexpected and eye-catching gradients in the background.
