In the community of puzzle game lovers, almost everyone knows the wordle game. It is a masterpiece despite having simple graphics and design. This phenomenon has paved the way for many game developers to create fascinating puzzle games just by their easy code and user-friendly gameplay.
Taking massive inspiration from the legendary Wordle, Kilordle is released to the public as a variant with the same gameplay and theme.
However, the gameplay has been upgraded to a more hardcore level than its original version.
In detail, this variant includes 1000 hidden words, 999 words more than the Wordle game, for players to solve them all. The massive amount of puzzles in the game may overwhelm players, but there's no time pressure in the game, so you can literally have fun with Kilordle puzzles in your free time during the day.
The Kilordle game has a layout of numerous grids. At first glance, you may think that the Kilordle game’s grid is similar to the grid of the Wordle game, but it’s not. Although the grid features a 5x6 layout, it will expand to many rows once you submit a guessed word to the system.
Kilordle requires players to figure out 1000 secret five-letter English words, so the guesses you are allowed to give are 1005 tries. By that, we mean you can use the number of guesses for all the secret words, or you can even apply all the guesses for one word only. The decision is yours.
Furthermore, a word your guess will be put in all the grids of the Kilordle game simultaneously. You won’t solve the words one by one, but all the words at the same time. For this reason, you will find more grids shown on the screen after you submit each guessed word.
The hints in the Kilordle game are similar to those of Wordle, except for the gray color:
