Pokedle

What’s Pokedle?

The Pokedle game uses the captivating Wordle formula, infusing it with a hard dose of Pokemon nostalgia. It asks its players to identify mysterious Pokemons each new day. It would help if you used strategies and guesses and carefully analyzed the clues to win the game.

The game offers a delightful twist on the same old formula of word-guessing games. This game is specifically built by a Pokemon fan for all Pokemon fans to enjoy. As a result, it perfectly blends the original’s captivating gameplay with the joy of rediscovering beloved Pokemon.

How To Play Pokedle

When you get to the game screen, you will be greeted with four possible game modes: classic, silhouette, description, and zoom.

For the classic mode, your first guess is completely random. Afterward, the game tells you how much your Pokemon guess has in common with the correct answer in seven categories. These comprise types, evolution level, fully evolved, color, habitat, and generation.

For example, if you choose a Charizard as your starter guess, the game will tell you it has type 1 of fire and type 2 of flying. Furthermore, it has an evolution level of 3, it’s not fully evolved, its color is red, and it originates from gen 1. Any common point between it and the answer will be colored green. Otherwise, they are colored red.

You can move to other game modes once you play enough and get bored. The Silhouette mode asks you to identify the Pokemon from its silhouette, the zoom mode shows you one small part of the Pokemon, and the description mode gives you a sentence hint.

Tips To Play Pokedle

The best tip for playing the classic mode is generational awareness. As you may know, there are nine generations of PokemonPokemon after about 30 years of continuous development. For this reason, tracking when different Pokemon generations were introduced and what they entailed will help you tremendously with the generation clues.

You should also pay close attention to the generation block, as it provides additional information about the Pokemon. If you guess wrong, this block will also give an arrow to signify if the generation of the correct answer is before or after your guess.
